I built a complete SEO + GEO strategy for usimmigrationadvisor.vn, an international immigration law firm website, scaling from concept to 12+ production-ready pillar pages with 50+ strategically cross-linked URLs in just one month. Here's how I architected a multilingual content system designed for both traditional search and AI-powered search engines.
The Challenge
Davies & Associates is a premium immigration law firm with a global client base. They needed a Vietnam-focused website (usimmigrationadvisor.vn) that would:
- Educate Vietnamese investors on EB-5, E-2, L-1 visa pathways — in their language
- Maintain authority connection to the main .com site while serving the Vietnam market
- Optimize for AI search (Gemini, Perplexity, ChatGPT) — not just traditional Google rankings
- Scale systematically — 12 pages in 1 month meant workflow discipline, not chaos
The Approach
Rather than build pages one-by-one, I mapped a complete topical authority framework first. The strategy combined traditional SEO clustering with AI-search optimization principles.
1. SEO Architecture First (Before Building a Single Page)
I audited the main usimmigrationadvisor.com site and identified 8 core content clusters:
- Visa Hubs: EB-5, E-2, L-1, EB-1A/NIW (each hub = 1 pillar + 4-6 satellites)
- USCIS Forms: I-526E, I-829, DS-260, I-485, I-130, I-129 (document guides)
- Geographic: Vietnam market pages, Hanoi/HCMC local SEO
- EEAT: Attorney profiles, case studies, client testimonials
Then I created a cross-linking matrix — 50+ URLs mapped out before writing a single word. This prevented orphan pages and ensured every piece of content served a role in the larger topical authority structure.
2. Multilingual Content Strategy (VI + EN Parallel)
The Vietnam site isn't a translation — it's a localized acquisition layer. Vietnamese users see educational content in their language; the main .com site serves as the deep legal authority layer. This splits the SEO job smartly: the .vn site captures awareness; the .com site handles conversion.
3. AI-Search Optimization (GEO)
I built every page with AI search engines in mind:
- Fact-dense sentences — every paragraph has ≥1 specific number, name, or process detail
- Clear entity relationships — "Mark I. Davies, Esq. (MBA, University of Pennsylvania)" not just "attorney"
- Question-answer structure — H3s often phrased as user questions
- JSON-LD Schema — LegalService + FAQPage schema on every pillar page
Execution Breakdown
The hardest part wasn't writing; it was enforcing systematic workflow across 12 pages in 30 days.
- Week 1: SEO Architecture + Skill Building
Built 2 reusable skills: `da-seo-architect` (internal linking strategy) and `da-immigration-content` (HTML template). Every page would follow the same design system — no one-offs. - Week 2: Pillar Pages (EB-5, E-2, L-1)
Built 3 main visa hubs using the template. Each pillar: Hero section, stats, comparison tables, attorney block, FAQ, internal links. 50-100 lines of responsive CSS per page. - Week 3: USCIS Form Guides (6 pages)
Rapid scaling. Each form guide follows the same carcass: what it is, who needs it, timeline, checklist, common mistakes, FAQ. Content production ~3 pages/day. - Week 4: Polish, Internal Linking, Testing
Cross-linked all 50+ URLs. Fixed mobile responsiveness (4 breakpoints: 960px, 600px, 375px). Tested color contrast, font sizing, animation performance. Created documentation for maintenance.
The Results
The project delivered production-ready output, but the real win was the system we built.
- 12+ pages built (vs 0) — all passed SEO audit, responsive testing, schema validation
- 50+ URLs architected — mapped internal linking prevents organic fragmentation
- 2 reusable skills — future pages can scale to 50+ with the same workflow (not exponential effort)
- Design system v1 — KTD Yellow + Navy color palette, animation library, responsive framework — documented for handoff
- 2 weeks of buffer — finished early because the system worked
